COMMERCIAL FOOD WASTE RECYCLING
Working to keep food waste out of landfills.
Adding food waste recycling to your existing waste services is an easy way to reach your overall sustainability goals. Diverted food waste is transferred to facilities that process the material into other resources such as renewable energy, soil amendments and animal bedding. We can help guide Connecticut businesses through evolving food waste regulations.

How Food Waste Gets Recycled
All American Waste has stepped up, implementing sustainable food waste recycling programs for a full range of customers—both large and small. We guide our customers in developing effective procedures for separating food waste, which includes depackaging solutions to help streamline the process and recover more material. From there, we help you select the right size container and provide reliable, frequent service.
Collected food waste is transported to anaerobic digestion facilities, where it is converted into renewable energy and other beneficial byproducts.
Together, we’re doing our part to turn waste into sustainable resources, helping close the loop from farm to consumer and back to the earth.
